Dr. Rogers Rejuvenescence MedSpa introduces the technique of “Bioplasty” to the San Antonio Area.
“Bioplasty” is based on the concept of creating shapes, volume, beauty and rejuvenation without cuts or stitches. This technique provides the “Liquid Face Lift” which is the rejuvenation of the face using dermal fillers in perfect combination with Botox.
The “Liquid Face Lift” is the rejuvenation of the face with dermal fillers in perfect combination with Botox. The natural aging process causes your collagen to breakdown, taking away facial volume. Therefore using the Bioplasty technique one can instantly restore facial volume to smooth out the signs of aging. Look 15 years younger using this safe, non invasive proven technique!
Everyone’s facial contour is formed mainly by the line of the jaw, the cheekbones, the chin, and the nose. This facial contour gives rise to the individual characteristics of every person’s face. Bioplasty can proportion a well defined facial contour instantly providing a younger you.
Using appropriate Bioplasty techniques, it is possible to correct asymmetries in the different parts of the face, replace volumes in the zones where it is necessary and tighten loose skin areas, resulting in a natural and youthful look.
Using the procedures of Bioplasty, it is possible to solve problems associated with the form, length and width of the nose, without the need of undergoing painful surgeries and long post operative recovery. Nasal Bioplasty is a quick operation done with local anesthesia. It is painless, and leaves no bruising or scarring.
In preparation for your non-surgical Rhinoplasty, we take careful measures of the contour, length, size and width of the nose as it relates to other facial features. Using this data, our expert then can reform and reshape the proportion, size, and/or features of your nose.
For many of us, the jaw line is a facial feature that often times is understated or unformed. Let our Bioplasty expert use proven-techniques to accentuate this line that would make any movie star envious.
A well-defined chin can be the envy of many. Now, anyone with a retracted chin, for example, can replace volume and mold it for beauty, elegance, and distinction.
Through Bioplasty the zone of the chin can be remodeled taking as a reference the volumetrical proportions and the general lines of other structures (cheeks, nose, lips) that constitute each patient’s face.
This technique is performed using local anesthesia. It is a procedure that causes minimal to no bruising or scarring and is done in the office.
Varicose veins are circulatory ailments that mainly affect the superficial veins of the legs. They are permanent and pathological swellings of “sick” veins which lose their physiological function. Approximately 10% of the population suffers from varicose veins with a higher proportion of women affected than men (at a ratio of 7 to 1).
Up to 80% of those suffering from varicose veins can attribute their causes to heredity or hormones. However, other causes include pregnancy, obesity and some types of activities such as when a person remains standing for a prolonged time.
According to our medical experience, the two most effective methods for the treatment of varicose veins are Sclerotherapy and microsurgery.
Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive and non surgical procedure. It is performed in the office by injecting the varicose veins with different vein sclerosing agents. Depending on the patient, it can be performed in one or more sessions with permanent results. For most, treatment is complete after one visit; however, occasionally, a patient may need a follow up treatment should the varicose veins return.
The Microsurgery for varicose veins is a technique whereby local anesthesia is administered followed by micro incisions to the skin in order to remove the dilated varicose veins. This quick, easy technique allows the patient to be back to normal activity almost immediately; however, it is recommended that patients wear compression stockings for at least two weeks after treatment.
Mesotherapy is an injection technique that was invented in 1952 by Dr. Michel Pistor to target areas of the body with unwanted fat, cellulite and loose skin. The treatment involves injections of homeopathic medications and vitamins directly into the mesoderm (or middle layer of skin) to help stimulate healthy growth of collagen while at the same time reducing fat cells.
Over the past 50 years the mesotherapy technique has been continuously updated and refined and is now used in many ways, including as an aesthetic medicine technique for body and neck sculpting, cellulite reduction and skin rejuvenation.
Ideal candidates for body sculpting and cellulite reduction are in good health, exercise regularly are within 25 pounds of their ideal body weight, and have deposits of fat or cellulite that have not responded to diet and exercise.
Mesotherapy ingredients include various vitamins, minerals, plant extracts and amino acids that are specifically measured and prepared at the time of your visit to target your individual body needs.
If used for skin rejuvenation, the results are immediate. For cellulite and body sculpting the results depend on the area treated and the nature of the problems. Larger areas should show improvement after the third or fourth treatment.
A treatment cycle could require as few as one or two treatments for a small pocket of fat under the chin or around the knees. Larger areas such as the abdomen, hip or flank areas may require five to ten treatments.
There is really no down time after the procedure. We recommend wearing loose clothes after the procedure and drinking plenty of water to help the lymphatic system remove the fat from the body.
Mesotherapy for the treatment of cellulite, targeted body sculpting or spot fat reduction will last as long as your weight remains stable.
The majority of patients experience little or no discomfort. For those who experience discomfort, a topical local anesthetic cream can be applied prior to the procedure.
Possible side effects are generally mild and may include itching, flushing or burning, which may last for 24 hours. Temporary bruising is common for body sculpting and cellulite reduction, yet they commonly fade quickly.
Each treatment session is $500
